 George Kraft - Pres
ident 

 George is well known in the music industry with over 38 years experience in brass and    woodwind restoration. A native of the Buffalo, New York area, George graduated from Eastern School of Musical Instrument Repair in Union, New Jersey in 1974 and moved south to enjoy the warmer climate. An avid Buffalo Bills and Sabres fan, and Drum Corps International alumni and supporter, George also plays trumpet and manages the local rhythm and blues band Time Machine and the highly regarded Rocket City Brass , and plays cornet with The Brass Band of Huntsville, where he has been elected to five terms on the Board of Directors and serves as Personnel Manager and Treasurer. George is also the father of two adult children. You can find him performing most weekends at private functions with one of his bands, or searching for his errant drives on the golf course. 
 

 

 

Bill Deiss - Production Supervisor

A native of upstate New York, with stints in Oklahoma and Delaware, Bill is a great brass and woodwind technician and artist. Bill also can do any custom modification you need, and specializes in custom finishes, tuba restoration and Civil War instrument reproductions. He plays tuba, upright and electric bass, and is in charge of the operations when the boss is out playing golf or taking a nap.  Bill is also an avid deer and duck hunter.  Bill and his wife, Kelly enjoy an active life with their five children.

Paul Sizemore - Brass and Woodwind Technician

Paul has been with us for 9 years and does a terrific job as a brass and woodwind technician, excelling in dent removal, buffing procedures, assembly, and customer service.  Paul is an alumni of the Marching Southerners of Jacksonville State University, marching a 20J tuba. Paul and his wife Erin are celebrating the recent birth of their fourth child.

 

Paul Glotzbach - Woodwind Technician

Paul has been here since day one, and has long been considered one of the most knowledgable and respected woodwind technicians anywhere. Paul performs a majority of the woodwind repairs, and specializes in double reed repairs. Paul comes from a very musically talented family, and is an active clarinetist and saxophonist in the Huntsville Concert Band, Twickenham Winds Concert Band, and Sentimental Journey Dance Band. He and his wife Joan have been married forever and have 3 grown children and several grandchildren.

Jacqui Lawson - School Representative

Jacqui is the newest member of the Southeastern team, working with band directors and traveling across North Alabama picking up and delivering instruments.  Jacqui has a flute performance degree in music and has taught private flute lessons for over 30 years. She enjoys teaching flute sectionals at several high schools and middle schools, and directing the flute choirs at Grissom High School. She is active in the local music scene playing for community musical theater orchestras, the Twickenham Winds, and in the flute trio "Prestissimo". Occasionally you might find Jacqui at Bandito Southside open mic jazz night trying her best to learn to improv. Jacqui is the mother of four children and two granddaughters. All of her children are musicians, of course.
